Messages – Contextual Communication

Always communicate in the right context with a view of the change log! This allows you to ask quick follow-up questions, share updates, or inform specific team members.

• Send Messages – Keep your team updated and notify all logbook subscribers about new messages.

• Mention Team Members – Use “@” to mention colleagues, even if they are not subscribed to the logbook.

• Send Attachments – Share files or images directly via chat.

• Threaded Replies – Respond directly to messages to keep discussions structured.

• Pin Messages – Mark important messages so they can be found quickly.

• Edit/Delete Messages – Correct your own messages or remove them if necessary.

Notes – Keep Important Information in One Place

Want to store key information for your team so it’s always accessible in the dashboard? With the new notes feature, you can do just that – quickly, clearly, and in a structured way.

• Create Notes – Keep important information in a central location.

• Use Formatting – Structure your notes for better clarity.

• Create Checklists – List tasks and check them off directly.

• Add Links – Include external links that can be opened directly from PlanD.

Communication on the Go – Mobile App (v9.0.0)

Communicating with teammates in the dashboard is practical – but what if you could do the same on the go? With the new Inbox and Mobile Logbook, you now have a central overview of all notifications and can communicate contextually with all employees at any time.

Inbox – All Notifications at a Glance

You will now find a new Inbox tab that collects all personal notifications. Stay up to date and respond quickly to open messages.

• Swipe right to mark notifications as read or unread.

• Swipe left to delete notifications.

• Use the search function to find specific notifications.

Logbook – Real-Time Communication

The logbook is now also available on mobile – just like in the dashboard! Stay informed at all times and communicate directly in the right context, whether for absences, assignments, tickets, or other processes in the app. Open the respective logbook easily via a notification or the "Chat" tab in a record.

• View the change log from the dashboard while on the go.

• Send messages, mention colleagues with "@", and attach documents or images.

• Reply directly to a message by holding it down.

• Edit or delete your own message with a long press.

Other Improvements ♻️

• Real-Time Updates for Assignments
  Assignments are now updated in real-time without requiring notifications to be enabled.

• Extension of Free Time Tracking with Object-Specific Tasks
  After selecting an object, the associated tasks can now be selected directly.

• Work Orders in Free Time Tracking
  Work orders can now be created and completed directly in free time tracking, provided the task includes positions.

• Object Documents in Free Time Tracking
  Documents related to an object are now displayed directly in free time tracking, making relevant files more accessible.
