Break time recording at daily level / independent of use

Currently, a break can only be taken on a shift. In most cases, employees have many assignments in one day, where there can be changes in the planning during the course of the day. In my opinion, this means that the statutory breaks cannot be recorded. Furthermore, break times flow into the wage time where they should not go.

Approach:

Create the break time for the respective employee in the HR master data under "Contract". The statutory break after 6 hours of working time or an individual break time should be stored here. This means that the break is not linked to an assignment that may not be processed at all (because another assignment may have to be brought forward), but to the person/contract. The employee should be able to clock in a break for each shift, if the employee does not clock in, the break created in the contract is automatically deducted (if, for example, 6 hours of working time have already been recorded for the day in question).

This way, you comply with the legal requirements and have a clean pay period for remuneration.
