Newsfeed for employees

Motivation:

The current chat area of the PlanD app with individual and group chats is not ideal for company-wide communication of important information. There is no way to reach all employees quickly and easily with relevant news and announcements.

Requirement:

• Introduction of a central newsfeed that management can use to send relevant information to all employees.

Examples of use cases:

• Sending links to employee surveys

• Notification of pay increases

• Information about offers for first aid training

• Publication of vacancies

Advantages:

• Efficient communication: Enables quick and easy communication with all employees.

• Time saving: Reduces the effort required to manually send information via individual chats.

• Improved information distribution: Ensures that all employees receive important information.

• Central information platform: Creates a central point of contact for relevant news and announcements.

Additional options:

• Segmentation: Possibility to send messages to specific employee groups (e.g. by department, location or role).

• Read confirmation: Function to check whether employees have read the messages.

• Archiving: Option to archive messages for later viewing.

Extending the chat area to include a news and info feed or a broadcast function significantly improves internal communication and important information can be efficiently distributed to all employees.
